Flying always puts things into perspective.
As the plane rises, everything becomes smaller and smaller. Houses begin to look like specks of dust. Cars resemble tiny insects. Mountains become like little anthills. Planes on lower altitudes appear as little birds at flight. People? You can't even see them from the air.
So yeah. We are small. Tiny. On our own we are insignificant in this world.
So, how amazing is it that the CREATOR of all things holds us in His hands? Our very life breath is fragile but our Maker is sustaining each inhale and exhale. He is the Purpose Giver and the One who holds us all (and all of creation!) in His capable hands. If you and I are breathing right now - it's because we have a purpose...a reason to be alive.
Life sometimes feels overwhelming and like the impossible situation before us is beyond our control and ability to overcome. The reality is that sometimes it is true - we cannot overcome those huge hurdles on our own. But our Creator is also All-Powerful God who has the control and the authority over all things. He loves us and the Scriptures say in Romans 8:28 - "He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His will." He is ready and waiting to carry you, to hold you, to sustain you and to give you new strength and power to be able to overcome any challenge that you might face.
Your mountain may seem huge to you. But from God's perspective? It's kind of like the perspective that one catches when they ascend into the sky in a plane.
That mountain is like an anthill to our God. One breath from Him and that mountain is scattered in the wind.
He is able. He is more than able. Trust Him, friend.
